Dylan got his 1st haircut today at Cookie Cutters. It's a magical place, regardless of the fact that he cried through the whole thing.

Wes just got home and is apparently ticked that I paid money for it. He thinks he could do better. Anyway, it's done. It's no longer in his eyes, down his neck, or over his ears. But plan on it being more messy than this.

We love cookie cutters too! If only Chloe had as much hair as Dylan, I would take her back for haircut #2 now that she is nearing her 2nd B-day. After much trial and error, we determined that Seth does, in fact, do a better job with Morgan's hair than even my expensive stylist. So sad that he doesn't get to enjoy the fun of cookie cutters!
That middle picture of him crying is really sad! However, his hair does look really cute. I say it was worth it for his first hair cut. Kind of a big event.
It's just that the bangs are event, there are obvious cuts in it, and I'm not sure the length of the right side is the same as the length on the left. Really a flowbie with a little cleanup is all a 1 year old needs. I could have put the clippers to him and had it all be the exact same length (a 4) and it would have been pretty good.
At least he really liked the balloon.
I have cut many a squirmy, crying kid's hair and I think Cookie Cutters did a great job! Dylan looks darling --Well, that's what I always say, right?
how cute is he?? Love the hair! He is looking so big and grown up. Are you having the best time with this stage? I loved this age so much better than the beginnings. Maybe thats just me.
Oh and yes I did post Christmas pictures out of order. I dyed my hair dark right after Christmas and yes it is still dark!!
I love the first haircut -- even if they cry. It looks like the balloon made up for it in the end! T hasn't even qualified for a real first haircut and he's 18months so we envy Dylan for even having enough to cut!
What a mean mom making him get his hair cut. That is one sad face! :)
