We have a girl name (Maisy Dean) left over from having Dylan, so we've been debating a boy name. His middle name would be Scott, and your choices are: Owen, Levi, Isaac, Ryder, Tanner, and Corbin. I picked them all, so I like them all. Wes already eliminated those he didn't like. Let me know what you think.
So I finally got my truck about a month ago, now I'm going to use it to haul Sampson to Idaho where he'll stay for a couple months. Part of the fence in the pasture has rotted, and we can't dig out the stumps or put new posts in until it warms up a bit. So he's been stuck in the muddy corral, and I'm sure not riding him right now (or anytime soon.) So farewell, my love. I'll come get you when I can work with you a bit more. Part of the trade-off for keeping him in Idaho, is a hook-up with a good Mormon girl. Kirk is 41, an incredibly hard worker, and one of the nicest guys I know. Let me know if you know of anyone.
I've moved to the couch in the basement. I just couldn't sleep in bed comfortably anymore. The couch is surprisingly more comfortable and supportive. I think Wes is enjoying sprawling out all by himself without me grabbing onto him in the middle of the night to roll over. The trade off is he has to deal with Dylan whenever he might wake up.
I read the book These Is My Words in about 2 days. Which I haven't done in a long time. I've been skimming and semi-interested in what I read, but this was a good book. I couldn't put it down. Thank you, Jenny, for bringing it to me.
Things that don't have a place yet are driving me nuts. We need an entertainment center for the basement so the DVD's, etc can be put away. And the TV can come off the coffee table. I also still need a rocking chair for the baby's room. Not a glider, a rocking chair. Everything else is finished.

Some Good Things
My kid is so helpful.
He likes to help make dinner and he sets the table.
He puts his clothes away and makes the bed. He's so good about saying please and thank you, it sometimes surprises me. He loves trucks more than anything. He can't stop talking about excavators and container trucks. If there's a prayer to be said, he wants to say it. And he loves the snow. First thing yesterday morning we had to make a snowman tall, tall, tall.
I am one lucky mommy. Nobody better say I won't get another like him.
Wes has stepped up his game the last little while as well. He's done more dishes and stepped in with Dylan more, giving me time to just sit. Or screw around online.
Both mine and Wes' mom are awesome and willing to watch Dylan anytime. I'm especially grateful to Wes' mom right now for thinking that my butt isn't any bigger. She may be deceived by proportions, but it's a kind thought.

Women Athletes
We're kind of hit and miss watching the Olympics. I personally prefer the Summer Olympics because I like to watch the muscles in motion. I'm a dork that's over-fascinated by how the body works.
We've been watching mostly ski racing and they're pretty intense. But what brings a tear to my little eye is the passion shown by the women when the finish a race. The men kind of look for their time and give a "good-for-me" face. But the women cry and scream and kick. And you can tell that they put everything they had into the race.

I've Been Thinking
1. Self and Shape Magazine workout videos are the best. Anything by Crunch is a waste of time.
2. Last Chance Harvey is the most boring movie I've seen, possibly in my existence.
3. My house is oddly staticy
4. The above makes my hair a little fly-away, but really I just don't like this length. Grow hair, grow.
5. I want to re-do this room I'm sitting in before the baby comes. Not a huge priority, but I really want to.
6. I need to finish my 2009 scrap book before the baby comes or it won't get done.
7. Heaven bless Shutterfly for hiding my lack of talent.
8. If I get much bigger I'm going to have to buy new maternity clothes.
9. The last month or so of gestation is excessive and unnecessary.
10. I love accountants. They make life easy.

Happy Day...Not Quite
Dylan walked into our room this morning an announced, "I happy day." What a way to wake up, since Wes and I really struggled to sleep last night.
After 1 hour back at the Springview I realized, I want to come back. We went to Sunday school at our new ward, and like most of the lessons, it was power point. Seriously people calm down. I personally haven't seen very many spiritual power points in my day. So, let's cut out the I-know-more-church-facts and get down to the spirit of the lesson. As usual, I sat alone during RS. This is probably my own problem. I don't need new friends, I have them back at Springview.

Good Job
Dylan was sitting at the counter while I did the dishes yesterday. When I finished he started clapping and told me "good job, mom." I got the same reaction for making a sandwich. My son obviously gets praised for doing things he's supposed to. I'm just glad he can hand it out as well.

Feelin' Gutsy
So like most people, I'm afraid this baby is a girl. Not the boy I've been hoping for. Since it's due 2 days after Easter, I bought Dylan's Easter outfit early. I probably won't get around to it later.
Purple and green are Wes' favorite colors. I got a purple shirt to go under it. He'll look handsome as usual.
However, this little dress would look super cute with it. Can you just see the pictures?
So I bought it today. I saved the receipt, I can take it back. I'm due in 1/2 the time of the return policy. I hope Wes doesn't read this, because who buys a dress when you don't know the sex of your baby?
Also on an Andrea might be crazy note; I thought I was getting itchy. I'm here to say that I'm not. I don't even have my lab test back yet, but I'm telling you I was going nuts, but now I'm fine.
